I love as a business owner with Rodan + Fields I have the privilege of helping people live better in their own skin and become more empowered in their lives. I like to say “it’s so much more than skincare” because it really is. I feel it’s very important to feel and look good from the inside out so I am so thankful to have the privilege of serving others in this quest!
Why would you consider following ME in business or take my advice on products over someone else? Well….I’ve been a Registered Nurse for over 35 years, with a great passion to serve with excellence and compassion. “You are exceptional and bound for greatness.” There is something about these words that give me chills and a determination to BELIEVE in myself like never before! So I desire to help others BELIEVE this as well as they begin their journey into entrepreneurialism or to the BEST VERSION OF YOU!
My nursing career started in the NICU, progressed to Nursing Management over Women’s Services, Medical Sales, Cancer Care, Business Owner of a 3 location hospice agency to a Global Entrepreneur and Business Owner of a thriving eCommerce business. It may surprise you that each and every step up the corporate ladder prepared me for my own path to becoming an entrepreneur. I learned what I DIDN’T want in my life and in my business. Remember that inner voice that said I wasn’t enough?? It tried to tell me I wasn’t good enough to be called a business owner much less a global “entrepreneur”. Man was that stupid voice wrong!
With each career advancement I gained greater passion to serve but my life and time with family started to take last place instead of first. I truly desired to get my life and family back as first priority and to fit my WORK AROUND MY LIFE instead of fitting LIFE AROUND MY WORK. I want to help others experience this as well! There’s nothing like being your own BOSS!
I made this change 12 years ago and I could not be more grateful! I’ve experienced being in the field, working in the trenches so to speak, so I understand being on the front lines.
I built my hospice business from my dining room table. But that accomplishment was not done alone. I hired the best doctors, nurses, social workers, CNAs, chaplains and administrators to accomplish our goal of serving patients and families at the end of life. It truly takes a TEAM! We’re building legacy, impact and community. There is no me without you! Don’t try to do it alone. Life is so much more fulfilling when shared with others. So I encourage you to find a community you LOVE and GO FOR IT! When you do what you LOVE, you’ll never “work” another day in your life!
